Mubasher: Kuwait’s currency in circulation rose 4.6% year-on-year in March, according to data released by the Central Bank of Kuwait (CBK) on Sunday.
The GCC nation’s currency in circulation amounted to KWD 1.803 billion last month, compared to KWD 1.723 billion in the same month a year earlier, the CBK added.
Month-on-month, Kuwait’s traded currency inched down 0.11%, from KWD 1.805 billion in February.
Traded notes amounted to KWD 1.775 billion, while coins reached KWD 27.93 million over the course of the previous month.
